Introducing...
Regional Groups For Women Leaders
We want to introduce you to the cutting edge of support for you - the woman leader in New England. What do we envision? We envision groups of six to ten womens ministry leaders who regularly meet during the school year at local restaurants or churches. Each group decides when, where and how often they will meet. These groups will be organized geographically, if possible.
What is the purpose?
The purpose is to provide a safe environment where women leaders from various churches can meet for encouragement, accountability, cooperative ministry networking and prayerful support.
What could these meetings look like"?
The women attending will have the opportunity to encourage and pray for each others relationship with God and their particular ministry. Those attending will have the opportunity to share materials, resources, prayer requests, etc. A different topic for each meeting (chosen by the group) could be discussed. The women will be given opportunities to further their spiritual growth and ministry skills by being presented with resources that Womens Ministries offers. (For example, leadership classes, consultation, coaching, etc.)
What are our goals?
- To maintain vitality and integrity in our relationship and witness for Christ.
- To grow spiritually and return to our respective ministries encouraged and better equipped to serve.
- To balance our personal and ministry lives.
- To foster cooperative ministry opportunities in our churches.
- To advance the cause of Christ in our communities.
When will we begin meeting?
The formation of each group will be dependent on having a point person/facilitator. · Groups will begin meeting in the fall of 2007. To learn more about this exciting opportuity, come to our
Summit for Women Leaders in March of 2007!
